Presets & Patches

PRESET BROWSER

Open with Cmd+Shift+P or the toolbar button. The browser shows a searchable library organized by categories with tags and favorites.

  • Click a preset to load it into the selected node
  • Click a preset's star to toggle it as a favorite; the Favorites filter shows only starred presets
  • Use the search bar to filter by name or tag

All built-in instruments (Chirusa, SimSim, Cantia, Leeroy, Ostion) and all internal effects support saving user presets and browsing the full library. Chirusa, SimSim, Cantia, and Leeroy also have a Presets button in their editor with quick access to built-in presets plus "Save as Preset..." and "Browse All...". Saved user presets load live into the target node the moment you select them.

RANDOMIZE

The Randomize button ("!!!") on any source node, instrument, or effect shuffles its sound-shaping parameters for quick exploration. It deliberately leaves each node's output level alone, so randomizing never causes sudden jumps in loudness.

EXPORT / IMPORT PRESETS

  • Export - Save a single node preset as a .nmp file
  • Import - Load a .nmp file into the selected node

MULTI-NODE PATCHES

  • Edit > Export Selection - Saves selected nodes as a .nmpatch file, including connections and modulation routes between them
  • Edit > Import Patch — Loads a .nmpatch file, creating new nodes with unique IDs and reconnected internal wiring
