MIDI Input

Midi In

The MIDI Input node receives notes from external MIDI controllers or applications and feeds them into the composition graph.

SETUP

  1. 1Add a MIDI Input node via Modules > MIDI Input
  2. 2Select a MIDI input device from the dropdown
  3. 3Choose a MIDI channel (1-16, or All to receive on all channels)
  4. 4Connect the node's output to instruments, transformers, or other MIDI-accepting nodes

Multiple MIDI Input nodes can coexist, each listening to a different device or channel.

The node shows an activity indicator for incoming notes. Use the refresh button to detect newly connected MIDI devices.
